They really like their tea in Japan. Especially, matcha or green tea. In America when you see treats that are green you usually think mint. Craig learned that is not the case in Japan. Green is tea … even in ice cream. You can make anything with green tea. Ice cream is just the beginning. There are whole shops devoted to foods made from green tea. As you can see from the photo there are entire sections of the grocery store for green tea items including Kit Kats. After Craig’s first try of green ice cream we just enjoyed the vanilla.
